Wishing You a Merry Christmas and Joyous Holiday Season!
Christmas Contributions

With the Holidays in full swing, Kali's Cure has been inspired by the spirit of giving!  We are proud to announce our continued support of two deserving organizations, working to better the lives of those living with SCI.  We will be presenting $15,000 Christmas contributions to the Independence Fund and Dr. Onders' Diaphragmatic Pacing Program.

Thanks to the generosity of countless friends of Kali's Cure, 2014 was another successful and exciting year!  We witnessed several promising medical breakthroughs which, undoubtedly, invigorated friends of Kali's Cure and motivated us to redouble our efforts in the fight for a cure.  These donations are not only a small token of our gratitude but a symbol of our unwavering commitment to the cure.

Phil Kielman, a Vietnam Veteran, was thrilled to receive his track chair.  Although being disabled, Phil now enjoys the independence that the all terrain chair provides.  The Independence Fund has vowed to fit all paralyzed and severely injured Veterans with their own chair.  At $15K per chair, this is not an easy feat but a challenge the organization embraces!  Kali's Cure is proud to present our 15th chair!
After a car accident, Brianna was paralyzed from the neck down and unable to breathe without a ventilator.  Fortunately, Kali's Cure was able to help Dr. Onders with his successful mission to gain FDA approval for the Diaphragmatic Pacer in children.  The pacer is a life saving device, allowing patients to breathe naturally, without the use of a ventilator.
