Please note that the County Commission will vote on the Knox County School System's proposed budget at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4. The meeting will be held in the Main Assembly Hall of the City-County Building.

This may be the single most important decision regarding Knox County Schools that has been made in the last ten years. Regardless of how you feel about the proposal, I encourage you to be on-hand for the important debate and to hear what our elected officials have to say about the future of our school system. Supporters of the proposal are planning a rally outside the Main Assembly Hall at 3:30.
