Selecting the Next Dean: Search Committee Update

Reason to celebrate:
The College is so proud to be part of FAU, which was recently ranked No. 1 in the Florida Board of Governors ranking list. FAU earned 84 points out of possible 100, tied with the University of Central Florida. This remarkable achievement cannot be understated. Two years ago the first-ever rankings were released - and FAU placed second-to-bottom. However, through the efforts of so many of you, FAU climbed to mid-table in the second year (last year), tying for sixth place. It's a good time to be an Owl! Click

We had another outstanding showing for Match Day with 100% of our fourth-year medical students matching to residencies of their choice. The class will graduate on April 29 and we hope you will all come out to support them. The ceremony is 10 a.m. April 29 at the Kaye Auditorium.
Rx for Fun
On April 8, our first-year students participated in the fifth annual Prescription for Fun event held at the Christine Lynn Women's Health and Wellness Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
The event was started to welcome the first-year medical students and the first year college of nursing students at FAU. We thank our friends who sponsored the event: the Debbie-Rand Ways and Means Committee, which is a fundraising arm of the Debbie Rand Board of Trustees, the auxiliary that supports Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
