National Hispanic Hepatitis Awareness Day 
is this Week! 

May 15th  is the one day we set aside to push forward with our commitment to bring awareness of hepatitis and engage our communities in a strong and fruitful response to a preventable viral hepatitis epidemic. The theme for the fourth annual National Hispanic Hepatitis Awareness Day is "Mi Gente, Let's Talk About Hepatitis" (Mi Gente, Hablemos Sobre La Hepatitis).

NYC Press Conference on Viral Hepatitis Awareness

Come join the Latino Commission on AIDS, the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center  and over 100 viral hepatitis advocates which disproportionately affects the Asian, African, African American, and Latino community, as well as, the LGBT community, people who inject drugs, and formerly or currently incarcerated men and women at a Community Event to raise awareness for Hepatitis Testing, Prevention and Treatment. Bring your organization's posters and banners.

  

The event coincides with May's National Hepatitis Awareness Month, which includes a National Hispanic Hepatitis Awareness Day on May 15th and National Hepatitis Testing Day on May 19th.
