To date, Cultural Affairs has awarded over $9 million in grants to approximately 130 diverse not-for-profit arts groups, which contribute so richly to the artistic landscape of the City, proving that the Council plays an integral leadership role in supporting, promoting and advocating the unique and extensive scope of cultural offerings in Miami Beach.

They took refuge in a cheap no-name hotel they had heard about seeking out the "freedom" that the Latin Quarter of Paris might provide.
