Do You Have a Novel In You?
Nearly half a million people around the world will set aside time in November to write their stories---will you? It's all part of National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, a creative writing project aimed at getting people of all ages to write 50,000 words by the end of November. We're
joining more than 1,000 libraries, book stores, and community centers in hosting programs for aspiring novelists through the Come Write In program. We'll kick things off October 29 with some pre-game NaNoWriMo prep, and will then meet weekly throughout November to discuss technique, cheer each other on, and do some writing together. Find complete info here.

This is Rylee. She won this cool book and maker kit at the Redmond Library after doing a ton of reading over the summer. When her mom told her to say "cheese" for this photo, Rylee asked, "Can I say 'science' instead?"
