The M3-LS Linear Smart Stage is a high-precision micro stage with 0.5 �m resolution and absolute encoding. All drive and control electronics are inside the 29 x 20 x 10 mm stage.
The result is the smallest overall footprint and easiest system integration of any micro stage.
The only micro positioning stage with embedded drive electronics, the M3-LS is powering a new generation of handheld, portable and mobile instruments that require precision motorized optical adjustments.

The model DK-M3-LS-1.8-6 Developer's Kit includes:
- One M3-LS-1.8-6 Linear Smart Stage
- One USB adapter and a flex cable to connect the stage to your PC
- One USB extension cable
- New Scale Pathway PC Software for easy evaluation of the stage and for later validation of your embedded software.
- Tool and fasteners for mechanical assembly.

New Scale earns fifteenth patent in twelve years
|
New Scale Technologies, Inc. has received its fifteenth U.S. patent for miniature piezoelectric motion innovations. US Patent 8,797,152, Haptic Actuator, Apparatuses and Methods Thereof, issued August 5, 2014 to inventors Qin Xu and David Henderson. The patented actuator is a linear "VIBE" actuator that generates vibrations detectable by humans, typically used as an alert system in a handheld or portable electronic device.
