April 15-17, 2011
Car show moved to Sunday, April 17 due to weather forecast. Registration will still begin at 9:00am, with the overall show beginning to the public at 11:00am on Sunday.
Rims on the River is an annual event that takes place in Downtown Wilmington. This event has grown into a premier show, drawing a wide array of cars from the entire southeast region of the state, as well as a few neighboring states, totaling approximately 600 vehicles on display last year!
The event will be both on North and South Front Street all the way from Orange Street, heading North to Red Cross Street, near Cape Fear Community College. Admission charge for vehicles is $10.00. Click here for more information about this event.
The Rims on the River Free Concert is being held down at Riverfront Park, beginning at 5:30pm. The headline act this year is Tuesday's Gone, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. Please check the event website for updates.
