Middle East Update from Canon Andrew White
9th July 2015
Greetings from Amman, Jordan & the UK

Dear Friends,

Last week we had a great time of celebration as we held graduation ceremonies for our school here in Amman. The people we are supporting were there, together with our Jordan team, and we were all able to have joy in this moment. The children here have worked hard to graduate, and our teachers here in Jordan have worked hard as well. We honoured both the children and the teachers with this ceremony, and we are so thankful to all of them.

I was also able to give out gifts to the children as they came through the line to receive their certificates. We distributed crosses, bracelets, and sweets! They were so happy to receive our gifts, and it is truly a gift from G-d that we are able to minister to them in this way. We are sharing the love of Jesus with them.

We are working now on trying to expand our education project in Jordan to include two more schools, and we are hoping to partner with the Greek Orthodox School system in this process. If we are able to move forward with this partnership, it would allow us to continue doing the work G-d has given us to do, but on a much larger scale!

So presently, we are asking if you can continue to support us with this wonderful education project. My team have recently put together a newsletter, which is with our update today, giving details on how to donate towards this project. Do take a look, as it also gives updated information on our Jerusalem School, and the continuing wonderful work at St George's and in Northern Iraq.

We are also continuing to develop and expand the medical clinic here in Jordan, which allows us to provide a much needed service to our people. For example, right now what is needed in the clinic is a new dental chair!

This week I have returned to England for some important meetings, including with our Advisory Board and one with the University Jewish Chaplaincy. Both of these meetings were in London, and as usual they will be part of a very busy schedule. I was also privileged to have a meeting with the Archbishop of Canterbury, which was simply outstanding. I cannot go into the details of everything discussed but I can say that he is totally behind us in every aspect of our work for the sake of the Kingdom of G-d. For that we truly give thanks and praise.

After a few more weeks we will be heading to America, where we will be speaking at some churches and also doing some media events, one of which will be an interview with Judge Jeanine of Fox News. As usual, life is very busy and involves a lot of travel! I am so grateful to my marvellous family for their continued love and support, without which this job would be impossible.

We also could not have done everything that we are doing without your help. It is through your financial aid and support in prayer that we are able to persist in the ministry that G-d has given us to do. Bless you all!

Blessings, Grace and Peace,
