Perrin's Preview
Dear MSY Families,
I want to thank you all for the energy and commitment we have seen in MSY ministries this semester! Some of the highlights of our year thus far include a visit to Sharon Towers, retreats and bubble soccer, scooter baseball, weekly Sunday School, and our mentor breakfast. We have much more planned as we continue this school year! I hope you will take note of our events listed below and mark your calendars for our summer mission trips.

Welcome to Middle School Youth Ministries at Covenant!
|
|
Weekly Schedule
9:30-10:30am
Base/6th & 7th Graders, EW 318
Base will explore and engage in stories from the Old and New Testaments as they examine ways to live out scripture in their daily lives.
Quest/8th Grade, EW 312
Quest will use this time to intentionally explore, question, and continue to claim a personal faith in Christ.
Sunday Evening Fellowship
5:30-6pm Dinner - Fellowship Hall Main
Program to follow
We will gather all together on Sunday evenings for dinner in the Fellowship Hall and then have various programs throughout the semester from 6-7pm. Programs will
range from recreation to practicing spiritual disciplines to service opportunities.
Wednesdays
5:30-6:30pm Open Table - Fellowship Hall
6:30-7:30pm Gym Night, Rec Wing
MSY are invited to dine at Open Table together in the Fellowship Hall, then enjoy fellowship and play time in the Rec Wing game room and gym.

Quest Class and Mentors Will Worship at Elevation Church Uptown

Meet in the upper parking lot at 9:00am. Worship at the Elevation uptown location begins at 9:30am.
**Quest Parent's Group meets at 6:00pm that evening in Room 212, for a discussion led by Perrin.

MSY CHRISTMAS PARTY!

Bring a joyful spirit and a cozy hat! Middle School Youth will go ice skating at the Ice House in Pineville. More details to follow.

Save the Dates for Summer Mission Opportunities
June 17-22, 2018 The cost will be $295/youth and $150/chaperones.

To register for summer trips, e-mail [email protected] and pay a non-refundable deposit of $100 to Covenant Presbyterian Church. Please let Perrin know if you are interested in serving as a chaperone!
