Welcome Back!
It has been a wonderful first week of the 2017/18 School Year!
We welcomed back many old friends and met some new ones. Thanks again to all who joined us at last week's Popsicle Party.

We want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to our families for the many generous donations of school and cleaning supplies. We so appreciate your kindness and generosity.

What, year 6 already? Yes!  Just before the start of the school year, the NH Board of Education completed our Charter Renewal Process with a unanimous vote of approval for our schools continuation. We have been granted our second 5-year charter and look forward to the opportunity to continue to grow and enhance our public Montessori program.

As we have said many times, it takes a village to establish and sustain a charter school like ours. We feel so very fortunate to have assembled such a wise and nurturing staff, committed Board of Trustees, supportive Foundation Board, generous donors, and incredible families, all of whom are focused on providing our Students and our School Community with an engaging and robust educational experience. Many thanks to all in our village.

Below you will see a number of upcoming events highlighted for you including our 2nd Annual Road Race & Fun Run and related Running Club, our Annual Open House, and several other fun events.

We look forward to many opportunities to come together as a community this year, to strengthen our connections
to each other, and to our school's mission and goals. Even if you've attended similar events in past years, please be sure to make time to join us at these and other events this year!

We have many community partners  who help in small and large ways. This week we'd like to especially thank Jennifer at Spectrum Printing  for the donation of our Upper Elementary student agendas; Scott at BrandIt!  for donating our Race Day T-shirts; & Helen at SNHU for partnering with us to bring this year's Road Race to life!

A reminder that our Pizza Fridays and our Friday Morning Read Ins will begin in October. Next week we will send home the Pizza Friday forms.

Between now and then there are a number of important events and dates we ask you to put on your calendars. Please give this newsletter a careful read so you don't miss any details!

Here's a fantastic 2017/18 School Year full of adventures, meaningful challenges and scores of successes!
