Mimosa Cakes in Italy... 
are made on March 8th as a token of respect for women on International Women's Day (IWD). The first of these events was celebrated in Italy in 1946, and the mimosa flower was chosen as its symbol since it blooms in early March and it's vivid color is also a beautiful reminder of the vitality of women who have contributed to the world.   
All throughout Italy, women are given mimosa bouquets on this day, and the Mimosa Cake was created to reflect the color and beauty of this flower.  
 
At DiPrima Dolci, we will have miniature Mimosa Cakes available, and larger ones available for order.

Homemade Pasta
We've upgraded our menu and we're open for lunch and dinner Tues-Fri, breakfast and lunch Fri/Sat/Sun.
We're now making homemade pasta and we'd love you to try it. It's never too soft, like store bought pasta is. It's always al dente--which means "to the bite" or just enough to bite.
