A new initiative from the Institute for Educational Leadership, COABE, and the National Association of State Directors of Adult Education is offering three grants of $100,000 aimed at creative problem solving and collaboration among adult education providers and traditional and nontraditional stakeholders. The
Adult Career Pathway Design Challenge
, as part of the
Minds that Move Us
initiative, seeks innovative career pathways ideas that can usher adults towards a career who might not have the education or training background to accomplish it otherwise. While a total of 10 teams will be chosen to participate in the challenge, grants of $100,000 will be awarded to three teams.
The Adult Career Pathway Design Challenge includes a design camp, a career pathways festival, and ongoing coaching for participants.
