Packing for Your Mission:
What Can You Take and How Much?

Missionary and ministry travel is different for many reasons. One of those reasons it what you may have to take with you.

On average, such trips are of a longer duration than a vacation or visiting trip. That usually requires more of whatever it is you need. Often, missionary and ministry trips go to the more remote parts of the world that require you pack specifically for the challenges of that area.

And, of course, another issue is what you have to bring to fulfill your mission. Packing what you need for spiritual or humanitarian aid can result in baggage weights far exceeding standard airline restrictions.

Now the difficult part! First, every airline has different rules as to what is permissible and how much it will cost for baggage over the standard limits. Then, each country has its own regulations about what you can bring and how much. And these are just two of the challenging unknowns many who try to do God's work face.

The answers? Call one of our missionary travel experts at Missionary Travel. There is practically no situation or destination they haven't had first-hand knowledge working with. Many airlines have special consideration for missions like yours, and we can help pull it all together for you. We are ready to help at 877-541-5726.

Mission of the Month:
" Holy Family Cluster Completes Fifth Mission Trip to Haiti"

As reported by

"Members of the Holy Family cluster of Roman Catholic churches in Wright County, as well as others from the community, recently returned from a medical mission trip to Haiti.

This was the Holy Family cluster's fifth mission trip to its sister parish, Our Lady of the Assumption, located in Anse Rouge, Haiti.

Many positive changes were seen during this trip, including more education billboards, according to a news release. The people also appeared healthier and better nourished.

The sister parish relationship began in 2003. Each member of the mission team donates all expenses."
