Kevin O'Connor                                         Jeff Sturgis

St. J ames Mission Circle has been pretty lucky in the past with our choices for president. Our outgoing  leader, Jeff Sturgis, has kept us solvent and has been an outstanding administrator. He is stepping down but not out, thank goodness. He will still be our financial adviser and the head of the maintenance crew for Casa Eudes Girls Home.

Filling Jeff’s shoes is a big job but we have the luck of the Irish —one of our active members, Kevin O’Connor, has agreed to take over this month. Kevin is no stranger to being the head of a St. James organization. He served as president of the Knights of Columbus in 2015.

It takes a lot of skill to run our 17 programs to help the poor. We  thank Jeff for the excellent job he did and look forward to Kevin’s guidance. You have to agree … our charity is pretty darn lucky.
