"I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me. Then these righteous ones will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink?'...and the King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me." Matthew 25:35-40

Mission Trip Testimony

"It was my utmost desire to touch as many as possible with the love and knowledge of Jesus on this trip.  It changed my life.  Before this trip, the words "lost and unsaved" had a somewhat "Americanized" meaning.  But that changed.  To look into the eyes of a sea of lost souls had an impact that jolted me to the core.  Their need of Jesus' love and tenderness imparted a yearning to pour out everything I could to give them what Jesus has given me.  It was an incredible trip.  Thank the Lord for allowing me to join the team and answer the call to "Go"

"Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they're not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes."

Mission Trip Updates
Thank you to all of you who had been praying for us on our mission trip to India this past month. This was one of the most fruitful trips yet. We had many opportunities to share the Gospel and pray for people in need, visit the sick, feed the hungry, and spend time with orphaned children. To God be all the glory!

It was a joy to spend time with all of our children at Impact Children's Home. Everytime I see them I see just how fast they are growing up, not only in physical terms but also in the things of the Lord. On one of the days we spent with them we took them out on quite the adventure...a boat ride. None of them had ever been on a boat before so it was a treat to see their reactions and excitement. Thank you to all of you who are committed to praying for these children and helping financially by monthly sponsoring a child.

The Wind of the Holy Spirit at the Leprosy Colony

The day we spent at the leprosy colony was one of the most emotional days of our trip. It was humbling to see how joy can be so radiant in the face of such affliction, and inspiring to see how such fervent worship can be lifted up despite such painful curcumstances.
The mighty presence of God was so present among these people. Their joy alone was enough to fill a stadium sized sanctuary. But here they were, sitting on a concrete slab hut, praising God with all they had. Jesus was so near to these people... his love was so tangible..We could feel it surround them heavily.
At one point when we were speaking to them about the wind of the Holy Spirit, a mini dust tornado began to form just to the right of where we all sat. At that very moment it went from a hot/humid day to a windy cool breeze. Oh the presence of God was a mighty rushing wind in that place. We were honored to witness that and to be able to serve these precious saints. Thankfully we caught in on video.  Slum Feeding Program

There's a bridge community close to the railroad station that is home to a growing slum.  These people live in makeshift tarp tents, boxes, and anything else that can provide them shelter. This slum community has quickly grown to over 350 people. It is in this community that Impact India Ministries has been reaching out to for the past four months. We have been conducting a monthly feeding program here specifically aimed at reaching out to the children. The last time we visted here we had to suddenly leave due to fist fights breaking out as women fought over the shoes we were distributing. This time, by God's grace, it flowed smoothly and all the children got to eat without any disruption.

Right now we are only able to afford to feed the children of this slum. However, we do make exceptions sometimes. The woman on the far right of the picture above ( in the pink sari) asked us for a food packet and we made sure she got one. She was so frail and tiny. I came to find out that she has a one year old little girl. She also went on to tell us about her abusive husband and how desperate she was for a way out. We prayed with her and encouraged her in whatever ways that we could. Please keep her and her daughter in your prayers. She is just one among so many women in India that her story represents.

Once again Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for your role in helping this ministry reach hundreds of thousands with the Love of Jesus!
