Vote "NO" on Amendment 1: "Clean Missouri" is Dirty Business!

The ballot initiative known as "Clean Missouri" (Amendment 1) -- in a guise to bring about needed ethics reform in government -- is in reality an attempt to oust Republicans from conservative strongholds and increase the number of Democrat legislators. As there are virtually no Democrat pro-life legislators, this is likewise an attempt to destroy pro-life legislative efforts in Missouri.

Vote "NO" on Amendment 3: Open Door for Public Funding of Human Cloning/Unethical Research

Amendment 3 is being sold as an amendment to legalize medical marijuana in Missouri. While it does do that, it also creates a whole new bureaucracy, operating largely outside of any legislative oversight, with access to millions of state dollars.

St. Louis' "Abortion Ordinance" violates state and federal laws, Judge Audrey Fleissig rules

Missouri Right to Life applauds the court's decision by Judge Fleissig to uphold the First Amendment right to religious Freedom not just for those who were violated in this case but for all of us who do not want to be forced to participate in abortion.

Not only did the court find that the "abortion sanctuary city" ordinance passed last year by the St Louis Board of Aldermen was unconstitutional because it tried to take away our rights to "freely associate" with religious denominations/institutions, but that it also violated the Missouri Religious Freedom Restoration Act for the freedom of the "exercise of religion".

We thank the Thomas More Society for fighting for our religious freedoms! We also thank our legislators who stepped up and acted to protect our religious freedoms in SB 5 last year when this egregious action was taken by the St Louis Board of Aldermen.
