Legislative Update -- Your Calls Are Still Needed!

Thanks to your calls and prayers, House Bill 1266, the Pain-capable Unborn Child Protection Act was passed out of the Senate Seniors, Families and Children Committee this week. 

 But there's still more work to do on this and other pro-life bills!

CALL:
  1. Call your Senator: http://www.senate.mo.gov/2018-senator-listing-2/
  2. Call the President of the Senate, Ron Richard (573-751-2173)
  3. Call Majority Floor Leader, Mike Kehoe (573-751-2076)
ASK:
  1. Ask these Senators to pass Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act - Ban Abortion at 5 Months of Pregnancy - 16 other states have already done this! (HB 1266)
  2. Ask these Senators to pass PRC Tax Credits (HB 1288)
  3. Ask these Senators to pass Two Custodial Parent Notification Prior to a Minor Child Getting an Abortion (HB 1383)

Call them each week for the next 4 weeks. They are your pro-life Senators that you sent to Jefferson City. Ask them if they have passed these bills yet.

May 5 - Jefferson City - Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri's Bubbles and Bounces 5K walk/run. 8:30 am at Memorial Park. Pre-registration deadline 4/26. Pre-register online at www.friendsofphc.org or call 573-644-6635.

May 12 - St. Louis - Project Rachel Day of Healing and Prayer Retreat.Project Rachel provides free professional and confidential counseling, reconciliation, and spiritual direction with love and compassion for those left wounded by an abortion. Click here for registration information. 
 
May 13 - Kansas City - Mother's Day is Sunday, May 13. Help us on the behalf of unborn babies and their mothers by ordering Mother's Day carnations. Click here for more information.

June 2 - Republic, MO - MO Right to Life SW Region will host a workshop with speakers: Susan Klein, MRL Executive Director and Dave Plemmons, MRL PAC Chairman, Dave Spiering, MRL Board Chairman, Carl Schimek, MRL/SW Region Treasurer. 10 am - 3 pm at Cross Point Fellowship church, 1664 US Hwy 60 East.
