Legislative Update: February 3, 2017

This week the Missouri House Ways and Means Committee heard testimony regarding pro-life HB 655 sponsored by Rep. Kevin Engler and the Senate Economic Development Committee heard testimony regarding pro-life SB 15 sponsored by Senator Bob Dixon.

These two bills extend the expiration date on the tax credits offered by our state to citizens who choose to donate to any of the qualified pregnancy resource centers or maternity homes across Missouri.

Many women are choosing life for their unborn children and these facilities are meeting their needs. They do great work as they help these women and their families in many areas of need.

We thank the pro-life members of the House Ways and Means Committee and the Senate Economic Development Committee for hearing these important pro-life bills and look forward to their passage.
