How do I post an event on the Chamber's community calendar?
Local organizations are encouraged to submit their events to be added to our community calendar on a regular basis. Please adhere to the following guidelines for all event submissions.

Preference will be given to those events taking place in the cities of Mountain View, Los Altos, Sunnyvale and Palo Alto. Large scale events of influence outside the city of Mountain View will be considered for inclusion on an individual basis.

Scholarship Mountain View 
We are so excited to announce that this year the MVCOC Education Foundation gave $55,500 in scholarships to 13 Mountain View resident High School students.  These students:
  • Have displayed academic excellence
  • Are committed to community service (participated in projects and activities outside the realm of work and formal education or shown a willingness to serve their school, friends, family or community
  • Have demonstrated that they are developing a sense of purpose in their life, as well as for the future by setting goals and objectives focused on a career path
  • Shown
  • financial need

Mountain View Working Scholars 
We are very excited to announce that Mountain View Working Scholars was awarded the $100,000 Inspire Mountain View Grant on May 3rd.   All of these funds will be given in scholarships to people who live and work in Mountain View and who are working towards a Bachelor's Degree through the Mountain View Working Scholars program.

A 4 year Bachelor's degree is within reach for everyone.  If you have some college credit or are just getting started on a degree, Mountain View Working Scholars is for you.
