Harland Aguirre
Technical Service Manager
Guatemala, a Central American country south of Mexico, is home to volcanoes, rainforests and ancient Mayan sites…and that’s where one of our top technical service managers, Harland Aguirre was born. His parents brought him to the US as an infant, so we’re calling him an Arizona native.
Taking nothing for granted, with great pride and humility, Harland served in our military. He felt it was his way of giving back. He gave a dozen years in the Army Reserves and served one tour in Afghanistan.
Intrigued by tech, electronics and machines, about 18 months ago, Harland found himself exploring the hearth trade. His ability to adapt in this fast-paced industry, aptitude and “know how” when it comes to fixing just about anything earned him the title of Technical Service Manager with Modern Flames.
If you spend any time with Harland, you’ll soon figure out that he’s passionate about helping people. When asked what he looks forward to most about coming to work each day he replied, “I love that our company goes above and beyond, not only to fix whatever problem the customer is experiencing, but also to innovate and implement solutions and new ideas, set higher standards and ensure that the customer is more than satisfied with both our product and our customer service.”
On his off-time Harland can be found helping friends with their projects, working on his own projects (eventually he’ll be driving that ’66 Pontiac he’s restoring), riding his motorcycle or just about anything having to do with tinkering, gadgetry, or painting.
