A CT TRANSPORTATION LEADERSHIP PROGRAM REQUIRED WORKSHOP
This module will address your role as a leader and how you can develop and positively affect the culture of your department, the morale and image of your team, and how to create an open, inclusive environment that promotes empowerment to your staff.
 
The session will provide tools and strategies for: 
  • Planning, goal setting, and defining roles; 
  • Being consistent in your leadership to minimize team dysfunction; 
  • Strategies for giving praise and constructive feedback; and
  • General tips on dealing with challenges created by a unionized environment.    
Course Instructor 
 
Kenya Rutland of KJR Consulting. Kenya has more than 15 years of learning and development experience with focus on creating high-performing individuals, groups and organizations. HIs expertise includes change management, coaching, customer service, diversity and inclusion, leadership and team development.
