The Tuesday, January 20, RCP Distinguished Lecture by Commissioner Mitch Silver has been cancelled due to his inability to travel.

There will be an All College Forum on January 23 at 10 am in the K-State Union Forum hall with updates on the Seaton enhancement project.

Assistant Professor Huston Gibson showcased his newly developed course for the K-State Online Essentials course Show & Tell session on January 16.

MLA Students in Associate Professor Kingery-Page's Creative Placemaking Master's Project and Report Umbrella Group participated in a January 16 design charrette to design a pop up park. The event was sponsored by the Wichita Downtown Development Corporation and the Knight Foundation.

Assistant Professors Huston Gibson and Jessica Canfield shared powerful messages on how landscape architecture and regional & community planning professionals can impact the future with visiting high school students and families on January 17.

Department Head Stephanie Rolley will chair the President's Council meeting of landscape architecture professional societies (ASLA, CELA, CLARB, CSLA, LAAB) on January 22 and the Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board meeting on January 23-24 in Washington, D.C.
