BizBlast@Noon Visits City Mission

On October 2, the Airport Area Chamber of Commerce visited City Mission as we hosted their monthly BizBlast@Noon luncheon.  Over 20 businessmen and women traveled from the Airport Area to enjoy a great lunch prepared by City Mission's Food Services Manager, Judy Sandy, and to network. Everyone was invited to stay for a quick tour of City Mission's campus after lunch.
Current resident, John H (pictured left) shared a brief testimony about how City Mission has changed his life.

Celebrate Success
|
Your support of the Sixth Annual Celebrate Success on October 16 has made a huge impact on City Mission, and we hope on all those who attended. We had a wonderful evening at the George Washington Hotel celebrating 20 residents who have successfully completed our program. Director of Programs, Wendy Barbeau presented the awards and spoke movingly about each resident.
Local performing artist and long time friend of City Mission, Kiana Levi, and her band served as our entertainment for the evening.
The ballroom was filled with supporters and with the families of our residents. (left - below)
