Thank you so much for your support of our Sixth Annual Celebrate Success Event last Thursday, October 16. It was a great evening and we can't wait to share pictures with you in next week's Memo!
Caterpillar Employees Volunteer at Hidden Treasures
One of our Corporate Partners, Caterpillar, gives their employees an opportunity to volunteer as a team at various area nonprofits. In September, Caterpillar chose to spend their volunteer hours at our Hidden Treasures Thrift Store in Canonsburg. Volunteers helped sort donations, hang clothes and rearrange different areas of the store. Thank you, Caterpillar, for your ongoing support and for all your efforts to help City Mission end homelessness -- one life at a time!

If you would like more information on how your organization can become a Corporate Partner please contact Shelby Knapp, Corporate Relations Manager.

For more information on volunteering please contact Sue Gartland, Volunteer Manager.
Law Suits Wanted
October is Pro Bono Law Month, and The Legal Clinic (TLC) of City Mission is having their 2nd Annual "Law Suits Wanted" Clothing Drive on Wednesday, October 22 at the Washington County Bar Association (WCBA). You can drop off your new or gently used suits, business attire and dress shoes for the residents of City Mission all day at WCBA! These donations will be used for our residents so they can dress professionally for job interviews, court dates and other occasions which require better-than-casual. Thank you!
Monday Memo Music
Phillips, Craig & Dean - Revelation Song lyrics
Phillips, Craig & Dean - Revelation Song lyrics
This week's music selection is a few years old, but we think it's a great song because singing praises to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ never gets old. Philips, Craig and Dean sing, "Holy, Holy, Holy, Is the Lord God Almighty, Who was and is, and is to come." This line is taken from Revelation 4:8 and it reminds us that God has always been and always will be. We sometimes forget as we go about our busy lives that God is in control. But here at City Mission, we try to keep that idea at the forefront of all we do, because we want our residents to understand that God is the author and finisher of all things and that we can bring our requests to His feet.

Sincerely,

Your Friends at the City Mission
