If you read this regularly, you know my wife, Laura Baron, is an award-winning singer-songwriter. Last year she won 3 Washington Area Music Awards, including Song of the Year for, A Little Note. The song tells the story of a woman who leaves an abusive relationship to set out on her own and take back her life.
Laura raised money and produced a video of the song, which was released this month. Since 1981 October has been Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The video has been extremely well received and is spreading across Facebook and Twitter, including major shares by a wide variety of organizations that promote solutions to domestic violence.
