Time with Friends

Last
week, just after an engagement in Puerto Rico, I visited my good
friends, Donald and Rosie in Vieques, which is a tiny island off the
coast of the larger island. I crossed the water in an 8-seat plane.
It was a parenthesis inside of a fabulous business trip. Donald and
Rosie took good care of me for the few short hours I was with them.
Local coffee in a French press in Donald's kitchen, breakfast on the
coast, coconut milk from fresh coconuts, and a dip in the turquoise
water 5 minutes from their house
.
Best of all
was the company. Good conversation. Happy faces. Nothing beats it. Find
someone you love and do something fun this week - it will pick your
spirits right up!
I cannot even imagine where I would be
today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart
full of joy.
