Laughing Counts for A Lot
All four of us went out for Mother's Day dinner. My wife, Laura, wanted to go cruising for sushi... checking out the best sushi restaurants to find one without an impossibly long line. So we all jumped in the car and headed out.

laughing familyWe don't go out as a group that often. It's hard to find the right event to attract everyone. But Mother's Day had good energy, and each of us mobilized. At some point in the evening we landed in the laughter zone and it seemed like we couldn't get out. There was too much fun to be had!

The laughter stayed with us all night. I have read of laughter epidemics - how it comes into a population and does not go away for days. I have to say, when you laugh all night long, you at some point realize that laughter has moved in!

At night we retired to watch some Seinfeld - we picked the episode that includes a trip to an alternative healer. Kramer had me in stitches. It's so much fun to laugh that hard - just let go and laugh, laugh, laugh.

Try laughing more. Some researchers think laughter just might be the best medicine, helping you feel better and putting that spring back in your step. - WebMD

I must admit, the way I feel when I am laughing hard, and afterwards, is fantastic.

Look for a laughing break. See how many you can do in a day.

You take away all the other luxuries in life, and if you can make someone smile and laugh, you have given the most special gift: happiness.
