Unbreakable: A Navy Seal's Way of Life
On Tuesday, June 13,  Senior Chief Thom Shea (Ret.) author of  UNBREAKABLE: A Navy Seal's Way of Life  will be our featured speaker at a luncheon event at the beautiful Palm Event Center on the topic of thriving in any and every kind of chaos you or your company may encounter.

Shea served 23 years as a Navy SEAL. In 2009, he led a Navy SEAL Team into Afghanistan, earned a Silver Star, Bronze Star with Valor, Army Commendation with Valor, a second Combat Action Medal and upon return was appointed Officer in Charge of the famed SEAL Sniper Course, where his two-year leadership resulted in greater graduation rates and overall scores.

Today, Shea is CEO of Adamantine Alliance, a unique leadership and human performance organization that helps companies, CEO's and individuals achieve new heights of performance. He has spoken to and worked with more than 180 corporations and organizations across the country.

Give Back Event at Shadow Cliffs

The Pleasanton Young Professionals will be teaming up with the Pleasanton Chamber Ambassadors for a Park clean up event at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park. 

Volunteers will assist with park beautification and also get a preview of the park's new solar panel project before its official dedication ceremony. Lunch will be served onsite after the event. There will be a non-mandatory donation opportunity to donate to East Bay Regional Parks District.

This seminar will identify some of the most common mistakes that prompt lawsuits by employees and former employees, and offer practical advice on how to minimize the risk of those mistakes.
Lawsuits filed by employees and former employees are much more common today than they were 10 or 20 years ago. The reasons for the increase in employment litigation are numerous and varied, but many suits result, at least in part, from mistakes made by the employer.  Some of the mistakes are fairly basic and easy to understand, while others require more experience or sophistication to recognize.  All are important, however, because they are common and frequently lead to litigation that may be expensive and difficult to defend successfully.

Murrieta's Well to Host June Mixer
Murrieta's Well, a Wente Vineyards venue, is set to host the June Networking Mixer.   Murrieta's Well offers an intimate setting for weddings, private parties and corporate events. Set in a charming, 100+ year-old winery nestled among the vineyards, the estate features vineyard patio, a barrel room with vaulted rustic ceilings and magnificent views.
 
Wente Vineyards recently announced its 2017 concert lineup.  For more than 30 years, The Concerts at Wente Vineyards have showcased world-renowned entertainers in the winery's picturesque natural amphitheater. Guests enjoy pre-concert sunset dinners outdoors or in The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards.  Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 am on 5/2/17, through Ticketmaster only.
