Alameda County Community Food Bank Drive

Keep the Food Bank shelves stocked with nutritious, non-perishable food.

The Pleasanton Young Professionals and the Pleasanton Chamber 

will be collecting food donations for the Alameda County Community Food Bank. The barrels are located at the Pleasanton Chamber at 777 Peters Avenue, so stop by with your donation of non-perishable food items and help keep the food bank stocked.

 Please donate:

Canned meat and fish
Low-salt soups, stews and chili
Pasta and sauce
Beans and rice
Peanut butter

Low-sugar cereal and oatmeal

Help the Food Bank purchase its most needed items.

Fuel Your School with Chevron 

Throughout October, Chevron has a unique opportunity to help secure up to $1,000,000, to support public education in schools in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. 

Fuel Your School is an innovative collaboration between Chevron

and DonorsChoose.org to help fund eligible classroom projects, submitted by teachers who don't have the necessary resources for their students.

 

What you can do

Fill your tank. From Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, 2014, simply fuel up with 8 or more gallons at a participating Chevron or Texaco station and $1 will be donated, up to $1,000,000, to help support eligible public education projects in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
