WHEELS Forward - Planning for the next generation of transit

The Livermore Amador Valley Transportation Authority (LAVTA), operators of the Wheels bus system, including the Rapid, is evaluating existing transit service in an effort to make improvements.

They want to know how Wheels can better serve your needs.

The result of the planning will be a more efficient transit system that carries a greater number of riders and provides a platform for future improvements.

They've titled the planning efforts Wheels Forward and have created a website at  WheelsForward.com to keep the public informed and engaged. Simply put, there's never been a better time to get involved in creating a more user-friendly, convenient transit system!

Everyone is invited to attend one of three informational workshops throughout the Tri-Valley later this month, including Thursday, July 30 at the Pleasanton Senior Center.
