A MESSAGE FROM JIM WILSON

The Pastor Care Team of the Committee on Ministry is pleased to report that we have succeeded in raising a total of $5,835 to assist Rev. Jim Wilson with the needs caused by his disability due to kidney disease.  Thank you to all those who gave.  You truly model what it means to be the body of Christ.  Jim asked us to convey the following message to you all:

Dear Friends,

I would like to take this opportunity to say, "Thank You" to all of you who have donated to the Rev. Wilson Disability Care Fund. Your generosity has been overwhelming and is now allowing me to have the peace of mind to take further care of myself, so that I may be able to obtain a life saving kidney transplant.

The journey to obtaining a transplant has been a long and difficult process, which began 8 years ago.  I am finally at the stage where I am moving closer to a transplant.  I just had one successful surgery last month and have two more schedule over the next 4 months.  By the end of the year I will then be in a position to obtain a new kidney.  Fortunately, a very dear friend is a perfect match and she is altruistically donating her kidney.  So, there is so much to be grateful for!

Again, thank you all for your generosity.  I and my family greatly appreciate your gifts of kindness.

Blessings to you all,

Rev. James Wilson

PRESBYTERY MISSION & MINISTRIES FUNDS APPLICATION

The Presbytery of New Brunswick's budget for 2015 included a consolidated line item for Presbytery Mission and Ministries to be administered by the Administrative Commission. Therefore, an application has been created to be used to request funds from this budget line item.

The application is available as a .pdf form which can be completed, saved and emailed to the Administrative Commission. It may also be printed and mailed but the most efficient process will be to submit the application and all attachments electronically. This will facilitate distribution to the members of the Administrative Commission and expedite the review of the request. Completed applications and/or questions may be directed to [email protected].
