CONTEMPLATIVE LEADERSHIP

Andrew T. Barton, Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Hamilton Square, invites pastors and church leaders to consider participating in a new year-long program, Contemplative Leadership, sponsored by Oasis Ministries for Spiritual Development.  Andrew will be one of three leaders of this program aimed at equipping participants to lead spiritual practices while enhancing the leader's own spiritual life.  The monthly meetings of the program will be held at Adams House at Princeton Seminary--a quality program from a reputable ministry in a nearby location. UPDATE

Muchisimas gracias to Revs. Paul Rhebergen, Jeff Vamos, Dave Davis, and Mike Capron for their faithful collegiality and solidarity towards our pastor Rev. Karen Hernandez-Granzen:

  • The Ewing Presbyterian Church has donated $1,000.
  • The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville is donating $5,000!
  • Nassau Presbyterian Church has raised over $8,000 and is hoping to donate $10,000!
  • Dick Sheats of Hopewell Presbyterian Church informed us that they have pledged at least $1,000 and are hoping to pledge more.
  • We are proud that Westminster Church has been able to raise from our members, former members, friends of WPC, and Flavors of Love dinners, approximately $25, 000!

This means with our latest pledges we have $40,000 towards our $50,000 goal to replace the roof of the educational facility!!! Prayerfully we continue with our appeal and invite everyone to consider how you might keep a roof over the heads of families and children in Trenton. If you can help please contact Cherry Oakley during Pastor Karen's sabbatical (from now until September 1st)  at cnnoakley@yahoo.com or (732) 343-2676 (text messages are welcome!)

Donations to the Westminster roof project may be made by check to Westminster Presbyterian Church, clearly marked "Westminster Roof" in the memo line and mail to PO Box 3719 Trenton, NJ 08629.
