Monroe County Schools Will Be Open 
Thursday, January 4 and Friday, January 5
Following two days of teacher in-service days, Monroe County Schools of Forsyth, Georgia, will reopen for students on Thursday morning, January 4. School buses will run on normal schedule.  Due to forecasted temperatures tomorrow and Friday, drivers will be mindful of students who may be waiting inside for buses to arrive. Students meeting buses are encouraged to watch and be ready for their bus.  Students should dress appropriately for morning temperatures in the low 20s.
