Happy New Year to you all!
For me, as with most quilters, when the holiday season ends I can't wait to grab a needle and thread and start on a new project. If you are the same, we can help you get started with exciting classes, super products and a mysterious new project.

We've been busy putting the finishing touches on our new 2017 Block of the Month. There is lots happening at the Studio and this month's newsletter will get you on your way to a new year of quilting.

Get Ready for the 2017 Block of the Month Mystery

If you follow my blog, you would have seen that we gave you a look ahead at our upcoming BOM. We revealed that the quilt will be:
  • a wall hanging
  • medallion style
  • contain both piecing and appliqué
  • a mystery quilt
The name of our quilt is...Moroccan Mystery.
Take a Mystery class with me! We are doing something new this year. I will take you step-by-step through each process of the quilt through video lessons. These lessons are only available through this newsletter so encourage your friends to sign up and work along with you. Click here to watch a teaser video of what's to come!

Moroccan Mystery was designed in four different colorways. The first month's clue starts with simple, basic sewing and it progresses each month building on your quilt-making skills. If you would like to be ready when that first clue is released, you can check out the colorways I've chosen here. Kits will be available in each colorway and will begin shipping on January 20.
By the time you receive your last clue, I think you will be surprised at all you have mastered.

Goodbye to Cosmos and a Look-Ahead Giveaway
Thank you for all of the wonderful messages you have sent about how much you enjoyed making Cosmos. I'm hoping that you are putting your finishing touches on your quilt tops and planning how you want to quilt them.

Back by Popular Demand
Our Sophia quilt has long been a favorite of both staff and customers.  The Sapphire colorway was retired a while ago because several of the fabrics were sold out. Because you have asked, we have incorporated new fabrics and this beautiful quilt is back again and better than ever.

Inspired by my travels to Ukraine, Sophia features beautifully shaded stars with intricate-looking but easy-to-make medallions from the border print fabric. The diamond units are constructed from simple strip-sets.

Sophia is available once again in two colorways and three sizes. And even better-the pattern is a free download!

Santa's Beard is Back!
Just when you thought you had seen the last of Santa for the season, we are bringing him back...well, just a part of him.

Reminiscent of Santa's thick, full beard, this fabric is perfect for the look of hair, fur or just when you need a fabric with interesting texture.

Santa's Beard has returned for a limited time in two of our most popular colorways.
