What a success!
The AceTech Ontario Annual Retreat was another great success.  Feedback from the CEOs in attendance was
unanimounsly positive.  Check out this video of all the great sessions and networking opportunities, and take a look at these great comments we received:
  • AceTech retreat is one of the highlights of my year. I look forward to the down time away from the office, a shift of fears, and the camaraderie with all the AceTech members.   Excellent work!

  • You don't know what you don't know - many CEO's disappoint shareholders and employees simply because they are NOT at the top of their game. Every CEO owes it to themselves and everyone vested in their company to be a top performer.

  • The CEO network effect: I've been a member for over a decade and each year the value of AceTech to us increases exponentially.

  • Very impressed with the quality of both the membership and the speakers. Topics are so relevant it is clear that AceTech has been doing this for years!

  • AceTech annual retreat blew away my initial expectations.  I'm excited by the prospects of learning from these great leaders and even better human beings.

"The Exit
September Quarterly Dinner with Prompt Alert

Join us for an entertaining, interactive, and open discussion with Acetech Ontario member Jeremy Greven (CEO) and Jordan Shnier (CFO) from Prompt Alert.  Jeremy and Jordan successfully orchestrated the exit of their SAAS business to a $10B US publicly traded company.

Discussion Topics:

  1. CEO - CFO dynamics - It's a marriage...Make the right choice
  2. Being self-aware is critical  - As a leader, do you truly know your strengths and weaknesses? From both a company and inner self perspective?
  3. Understanding your options in the financing process - Debt vs. Equity, How valuations range, Valuation should not be your only focus
  4. The decision to sell "How to know the time is now"
  5. The sale process and the emotional roller coaster that runs parallel
  6. Capitalizing on the "smoking hot" market conditions
The Quarterly Dinner will take place on Tuesday September 16th at The Spoke Club.  The presentation will begin at 5:15pm and will be immediately followed by cocktails, networking and dinner.  Invitations will be sent out in early August - make sure you register to attend.

Ownership Thinking - A Webinar Series

AceTech Ontario is very pleased to be partnering with The Achievement Centre to put on a two-part Webinar series called "Ownership Thinking; How to End Entitlement and Create a Culture of Accountability, Purpose and Profit.",  based on the Ownership Thinking (OT) book written by Brad Hams. OT is a proven method to increase bottom line results by creating a culture of accountability, purpose and profit. The goal of OT is to create an organization of employees who think and act like owners while enhancing the organization's value. Companies that implement OT retain employees at a far better rate than companies that don't  and can see a doubling of profits in the first year. Be the first 25 to sign up and receive the book at no cost to the members and find out what over 2,000 other companies across North America have already learned.

The webinars will take place on October 7th and 28th.  Everyone who registers will be sent a complimentary copy of the book "Ownership Thinking", which they will be expected to read prior to the Webinar.  Registration will be limited to 25 AceTech Ontario members, although each member is welcome to gather their Senior Executive Team into their conference room to listen in.

Further details will be sent out with the invitations to register in early fall.  Register early to guarantee your spot!
