BREAD & SALT IN BARRIO LOGAN
1955 Julian Avenue     San Diego, CA 92113

Meet Oscar Romo @6:00pm
Bread & Salt Exhibiting Artist
Oscar Romo, known as The Trash Man, through his organization Alter Terra, has developed a way for vulnerable communities in precarious ecosystems in Mexico to protect and restore their environment, increase economic opportunities, and organize to demand their rights. By using the waste around them to develop innovative infrastructure solutions, the resulting production creates jobs, changes consumption habits, and encourages community ownership over improved well-being.
Meet Gene Fielden @6:00pm
Bottlecraft Beer Sommelier

Mother Earth Sweet Spot IPA:
Vista's Mother Earth Brew Company have shown innovative utilization of hops in their rotating seasonal IPA line. Their creation, Sweet Spot, lets Galaxy hops from Australia to take center stage. With notes of mango, papaya and orange peel on the nose and a full, well-carbonated mouthfeel.
Barley Forge The Patsy:
This young brewery from Costa Mesa has hit upon success with The Patsy, a Coconut Rye Stout. Huge aromas of coconut define this beer, with roasty dark chocolate behind. The rye in the grain-bill lends a certain spicy earthiness to the finish. A unique twist on an American Stout, and not too over-the-top at 6.6%.
Sierra Nevada Otra Vez:
The Gose style of beer, hailing from Leipzig in eastern Germany, is decidedly offbeat. Simultaneously tart, salty and low-alcohol, it is perfect for hotter climates such as San Diego's. Sierra Nevada tweaks the base wheat beer with additions of prickly pear and grapefruit, allowing a subtle acidity to peek through. At just 4.5%, Otra Vez is easy to drink and altogether cheerful.
JUST ADDED:  O'Hara's Irish Red, a craft beer actually from Ireland.
