Meet Mike Dellinger, Executive Director

Welcome Mike Dellinger, new executive director of Morgan County  EDC! Mike comes to us from Advance Southwest Iowa Corporation, an economic development entity that provides outside marketing and sales services to Pottawattamie County and the City of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Created in 2014, Advance Southwest Iowa Corporation is a member of the Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership.

A native of the Indianapolis region, Dellinger is a graduate of Ball State University. He also completed foreign studies at the Universitaet Trier in Trier, Germany, and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute.

Dellinger has served in economic development leadership roles in Indiana, Iowa, and South Dakota on both the local and regional levels. His career includes twenty-eight years of service in support of growing companies, and his professional interests include foreign direct investment and international trade. Mike will start May 2.


MCEDC Hiring Business Development Director
Morgan County EDC seeks an energetic individual to provide our non-profit organization with marketing and PR, event planning, admin, project management, business services, and community development support!

Interested candidates should send a resume and cover letter to the attention of Mike Dellinger, Executive Director, at MCEDC@MorganCoED.com by May 6.

Lindsay Beckman, who formerly held the position, announced earlier this year that she has accepted a 27-month community and economic development assignment with Peace Corps Kosovo. Her last day with Morgan County EDC will be May 6.

Last month, INDOT released a screening report detailing three variations of Alternative C for I-69 Section 6, which follows the existing  State Road 37 to I-465. The public is invited to review the screening report and submit input at any time using the web form  or by contacting the I-69 Section 6 Project Office by email  or 317-881-6408. The project team is requesting comments for this  phase by April 29, 2016.

The public may also visit the I-69 Section 6 project office located just west of State Road 37 at 7847 Waverly  Road, Martinsville, IN 46151. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm and is closed on  state holidays.
