Kermanshah Report
Child Foundation was recently featured in IRNA, the official news agency of Iran, for its activities in the Kermanshah region after the November 2017 earthquake.

The report highlights the Conex units that have replaced destroyed or damaged classrooms as well as the distribution of food packages during Nowruz. To participate in this continued effort please visit our earthquake fund page or contribute to our   One Thousand Food Baskets  program.
A Sad Day
It is with a sad heart that we announce the untimely passing of  Ali  and  Roham . Child Foundation was actively working with the families of these two young SMA patients to raise funds for their costly treatment. Unfortunately, their tinny bodies could no longer fight the difficult battle with SMA and they are now at peace.

We would like to thank the hard work of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors who gave and worked effortlessly to help these two children. We will provide further information on how the collected funds will be allocated in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we extend our sincere condolences to  Ali  and  Roham 's families and wish them peace and patience during this difficult time.
Khaled is from the poor city of Nik Shahr in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan. He is a fourteen year old student in the seventh grade. He has lost his father to illness and lives with his mother and sibling in a concrete house that lacks basic amenities. He is a smart and talented student. Despite the difficulties in his life, he is a successful student who is very interested in his studies. He finished his last school year with a high GPA and is currently studying with great motivation and interest.  

Upon reviewing Khaled's case, Child Foundation is honored to grant this talented student with a monthly scholarship of $78 to allow him to pursue his education. Join us in creating a better tomorrow and lowering compulsory school dropout rates.

Earth Day
On the occasion of Earth Day, Child Foundation's local offices along with sponsored children and their families took part in a clean-up effort on the beaches of the Persian Gulf. Participants formed a human chain as they cleaned the beach, which was highly affected by Nowruz celebrations.

Their hard work resulted in the collection of 200 bags of garbage. In an effort to highlight the importance of a clean environment, each child under the age of ten was allocated a small portion of the beach in which they were responsible for its clean up. After the cleanup, the children participated in an art competition using sand in their designated area. 
Volunteers are Child Foundation’s backbone. Many of our programs would not be made possible without the selfless help of these individuals.
