What is happening in the State of California?
How many issues are there that we should be concerned about?
What can we do to help?
Go behind the scenes and the social media and
hear it all from a man who is there, day after day, bill after bill.
SENATOR, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
Senator Morrell, was first elected to the State Assembly, and when termed out, he was elected to the CA Senate. In the Assembly, he served on the following committees:
Labor and Employment (Vice Chair);
Budget; Banking and Finance;
Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials; and
Economic Development, and the Economy.
In the Senate, he currently serves on three standing committees:
Public Employment and Retirement (Vice Chair);
Energy, Utilities and Communications (Vice Chair); and
Banking and Financial Institutions.
A small business owner for over 25 years, Senator Morrell understands the issues faced by residents and businesses in the Inland Empire. Senator Morrell's view of government is simple: government exists to serve the public, not to be served by it. The right to private property, the gift of free enterprise, and government by consent are central tenets to our nation and its continued prosperity. Mike is committed to restoring fiscal responsibility and an approach to government that limits government's power and ranks the citizen above the state.
Senator MIke Morrell has been a good friend of the Mountain View Republican Club and it is our pleasure to welcome him again as our featured speaker.
Please join us, invite your friends and family to hear Senator Morrell share insights on what is happening in Sacramento, some of the challenges of the conservative, and why it is so important to be engaged.
