On behalf of the officers, board and staff of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, we offer our deepest condolences to the families of Naftali Frenkel, Gilad Shaar, and Eyal Yifrach, the three Israeli teens who were kidnapped and murdered.

Since we learned of their abduction 18 days ago, we have joined our people around the world in prayer and hope. We have continued to hold the three young men in our hearts, feeling that they are our children, their fate is our fate, their suffering is our suffering. As parents, Jews, and human beings, we are horrified and saddened by the callous slaughter of these three innocent teens.

May their unfinished lives be remembered for a blessing and may their memories inspire us as we work for peace in the land.
