I have no experience.....
Mrs. America Lady Logo Over half of our contestants are "new" to pageantry. You will never have experience if you don't ever do it.  In fact, the current Mrs. America, Michelle Evans won her state pageant as her first pageant and Mrs. America as her second pageant. 
           
I'm too young/old...
We have had winners as young as 24 and as old as 47.  Valerie Brooks, Mrs. Texas 2007 was 47 when she won.
 
You have to be tall to win....
null Height is not an issue. 

Mrs. Texas 2005, Jennifer Swick is only 5'2" tall.

Mrs. Texas 2011, Abby Tracy is only 5'3" tall and was Top 10 at Mrs. America.
  
I'm still in college....
               
Austen Williams, Mrs. Texas 2013 and Mrs. America 2014 was still in college when she won Mrs. Texas!  We love that you are continuing your education is that is your heart's desire.
 
You have to be a college graduate and be very accomplished professionaly...
There is no requirements on education or careers.  Mrs. Texas 2004, Jenny Palmieri, was a stay at mom.
            
You have to have children to win....
 We have had several titleholders that did not have children including the last two Mrs. Texas'.  Melba Miles, Mrs. Texas 2013 and Whitney Beseda, Mrs. Texas 2014.
 
 
I haven't been married long enough....
Our only requirement is that you are married.  Mrs. Texas 2003, Cheray Josiah, had only been married one year when she won.
 
They want perfect "barbie dolls"

You can't have won another title.

We don't care what your pageant history has been.  Shannon Patterson, was Miss DC America and Top 5 at Mrs. America and was crowned Mrs. Texas 2010 and Top 6 at Mrs. America.
 
    
I'm pregnant or working on getting pregnant. 
               
Bobbie Jo Compton, Mrs. Texas 2008, was pregnant when we won Mrs. Texas...and she won the fitness award!  We are family at Mrs. Texas.
    
I'm not originally from Texas....

 We don't care where you grew up, just that you got to Texas as fast as you could.

Kayla Wharton, Mrs. Texas 2012 grew up in Kansas.

Melissa Pocza, Mrs. Texas 2009 grew up in Michigan.

Our entry fee is only $495.  This includes  your fees,  embroidered banner, opening number dress, use of sarong during swimsuit competition, husband and wife dinner party,  photo package and video of pageant.  PLUS we have a new recruitment program to help you cover your expenses.

Each Additional Person You Recruit = an additional $300
