As a part of Mt. Horeb and as brothers and sisters in the global body of Christ, knowing and understanding what we believe is extraordinarily important for maintaining unity and reaching others with the Gospel. Core is an eight week series dedicated expressly to these crucial truths, values and standards. This is a particularly important time for the body of Christ across the globe and a tremendously important time for the Mt. Horeb family to strengthen our unity as we learn and continue to adopt these core truths. Don't miss out!

Pastor Jeff Kersey will be preaching on "Jesus First, Jesus Always" in the Traditional Service this Sunday and Pastor Nick Cunningham will be preaching on "On Earth As It Is In Heaven" in the Contemporary Service. Remember during this series, our pastors will be alternating venues so that each service learns about each of our core values.

The church offices will be closed on Monday in observance of Labor Day.

Hurricane Harvey Efforts

With all the devastation, loss, confusion, and desperation heaped on the folks affected by Hurricane Harvey in the gulf states, we want to help. We will have a special offering this Sunday in which all tithes will go directly to Somebody Cares International, a ministry active and on the ground in Houston. We're deeply encouraged to see so many striving tirelessly to rescue, shelter, feed, serve and care for their neighbors. Let's continue to represent Christ's love and compassion by giving generously to a ministry we know, respect, and trust.
