June 2nd, 2017

"Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
In light of the hope that we have and despite all of the various struggles we face, here's what I want you to do: Encourage one another. Encourage literally means to come along side of each other...stand shoulder to shoulder...be in each other's ear, reminding one another that the sun is rising...that the new day is dawning. Encourage one another and build each other up. Bottom line-a total life renovation is not a solo project. Its not something we can do on our own. It will require us to let people into our lives and help make our house a home. We are going to need some help. Find out this Sunday how you can experience this kind of encouragement. Pastor Nick Cunningham will be teaching in the Auditorium and Reverend Drew Martin will be teaching in the Sanctuary.

The Parables
Wednesdays 6:15-7:30 PM
Great stories have this way of going around our heads and instead they often speak to our hearts. Jesus was without a doubt the greatest story teller who ever lived. His preferred method of teaching was through parable. Many of these stories have shaped our world in unimaginable ways, and they have been opening people up the transforming power of God for nearly two thousand years. Who's to say they can't change us as well? Join us for this six week study through some of the parables of Jesus. Starting June 28th in the Student Room. MKids care is available but please register online.

Giddy Up, Eunice: Because Women Need Each Other  by Sophie Hudson
In her delightfully quirky Southern style readers have come to know and love, Sophie Hudson sends out a rallying cry for women everywhere to open our eyes and see the people God has put in our lives. It's easy for women to focus on what seems to separate us. The reality, though, is that we have far more in common than we realize, and since Scripture shows us the blessing of friendships across generations, it's time we step out of our same-age, same-style, same-stage silos. Starting June 28, join Lindsey Cunningham and Lynn Ullman as they share this book, and we come together to laugh and talk and walk with one another soaking up the blessings that flow across generations. Books available at amazon.com MKids care is available but please register online.

Made to Crave: Satisfying Your Deepest Desire with God, Not Food  by Lysa Terkeurst
The reality is, we were made to crave. Craving isn't a bad thing. But we must realize God created us to crave more of him. Many of us have misplaced that craving by overindulging in physical pleasures instead of lasting spiritual satisfaction. Made to Crave is the missing link between a woman's desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen. Starting July 9, join LeAnna Flynn for 6 weeks as she leads women through this perspective changing book. Books available at Lifeway or amazon.com.  (No MKids care available.)
