Join us for our VBS FAMILY CELEBRATION this Sunday, June 18 th in the Auditorium of the West building during our 9:00AM or 10:45AM service. There will be no 8:00AM service or Traditional services in the Sanctuary.
 
All children (preschool and elementary) will remain with their families throughout the service. This special service is designed with little ones in mind. There will be no MKids programming/classes for children this Sunday. Come casual and comfortable. We'll worship together singing our favorite VBS songs, recount the excitement of the week, and hear a short recap of the message by Pastor Jeff Kersey. Nursery will be provided for children 2 and under only. Check in children 2 and under at the preschool information desk computers.

The Children's Ministry Team at Mt. Horeb extends a huge "THANK YOU" to all those who  volunteered their time and talents to serve 1,900 kids this past week and in the weeks before. Without all of your efforts and donations of time, materials and ideas, Maker Fun Factory wouldn't have been possible. You are the tools that God used each day to bring these children closer to Him. We cannot     possibly thank you enough for serving. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Great stories have this way of going around our heads and instead they often speak to our hearts. Jesus was without a doubt the greatest story teller who ever lived. His preferred method of teaching was through parable. Many of these stories have shaped our world in unimaginable ways, and they have been opening people up the transforming power of God for nearly two thousand years. Who's to say they can't change us as well? Join us for this six week study through some of the parables of Jesus. Starting June 28th in the Student Room.
