Building a strong home begins with a solid foundation. Core is an eight week series focusing on establishing a firm foundation at Mt. Horeb about what we believe and why we believe it. As a family of Christians living and serving together in our community, we want to make sure we grow together and foster unity in our mission to live the Gospel in its fullness. Join us each Sunday as we seek to mature in unison and reinforce this firm foundation in Christ.

Pastor Faye Stephens will be preaching on "People Matter" in the Contemporary Service this Sunday and Pastor Drew Martin will be preaching on "Participation Over Observation" in the Traditional Service. Remember during this series, our pastors will be alternating venues so that each service learns about each of our core values.

Emergency Response Training

There is still a need for ERT's following the recent hurricanes. ERT's are volunteers who are dedicated to showing the love of Jesus to others in the aftermath of a disaster. Teams consist of 6-12 people who have been trained in 8 hours of basic disaster relief and first aid. We will be hosting the next Basic Disaster training on Friday, October 6th from 9-5. The cost is $35 per person. Anyone interested needs to contact Brittany Morris at [email protected].

Share The Warmth

Our annual coat drive will begin on Sunday. There will be tables set up outside the worship center doors with coat sizes and gender of child for you to choose from. We ask that you bring your coats back to the church by Oct 15th.

Fall Festival

We are so excited to announce our church wide Fall Festival date of November 18th from 3 to 7 pm. There will be festivities for the whole family to enjoy. Save the date for now and watch for more detailed information to come. Just a couple of things to look forward to.....food trucks, inflatables, laser tag, and fireworks. We will not be hosting our Trunk or Treat event this year so that all of our focus can be on making this an epic event for our community.
