Even sticking to Asian horror films can lead to a rich and varied horror gorge.

To help you kill time before you turn can finally cruise the neighborhood in your Slutty Babadook costume, we've compiled a list of five great queer horror movies for you to watch before Halloweekend. We didn't include just any old slasher flick with homoerotic subtext (Nightmare on Elm Street 2), either. These are five honest-to-god, loud and proud gay gore-fests.

Hip Latina
Halloween is all about the thrill of harmlessly getting scared. Nothing does just that as deliciously petrifying horror movies. Latinos have been creating great scarers for decades. Here are some, from a variety of countries, that will have you muy asustada - just in time for Halloween.
Horror movies with predominantly Black casts form a niche that has been under-exposed for decades. Still, quite a few have bucked the trend and provided quality entertainment for a wide audience. Here are twenty such films.


Broadway World
Based on the comic book by the Argentinean duo Pablo De Santis and Juan Sáenz Valiente, this bilingual production-in Portuguese and Spanish-features international talent from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, and striking special effects.
Telemundo, which has had success with some reality formats, such as La Voz Kids, is giving a culinary competition another shot. The network will add MasterChef Latino to its Sunday lineup in 2018.


Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey presents TURNO7, a digital content series that celebrates Latino business owners, who like Jack Daniel himself, stayed true to their principles. Each story demonstrates the authenticity, integrity, spirit of independence and loyalty to their craft.
