Book Drive: Books for Overseas Youth
|
|
Dear People to People Members,
People to People is currently running low on books for the Books for Overseas Youth program. This project diverts books from libraries, schools and homes from going into Delaware's landfills and instead directs them into the hands of teachers and youth around the globe who wish to learn English.
Donated funds allow us to send these books to school overseas but we need help collecting the books. If you wish to get involved in this project, you may do so in several ways:
· Try to find NON-fiction books in English (beginning level to middle school level) · Select books that have no political or religious content · Try to find books for teaching English as a second language
If you are interested in donating books or funds for this project please contact Jean Raleigh at jwraleigh@comcast.net or ptpde@ptpde.org. Books can be brought to any PTPDE function.
