Double Digits, Murphy Gets Desperate
Out-of-state money and out-of-state
workers pour in for Murphy
LANGHORNE, Pa.-- A new poll
released today by Mike Fitzpatrick's Congressional Campaign shows
incumbent Congressman Patrick Murphy trailing Mike Fitzpatrick by
10 points with only nine days remaining until Election
Day.
View the polling memo here.
"Patrick Murphy is getting
desperate and now employing Chicago style tactics to pursue his win
at all costs strategy," said Kyle Whatley, Mike Fitzpatrick's
Campaign Manger. "We know that Congressman Murphy has raised half
of his money outside of Pennsylvania, and
as the Courier-Times reported today, Patrick Murphy has also
been hiding behind millions of dollars from outside shadowy groups
that are attacking Mike Fitzpatrick."
"This poll shows that
Patrick Murphy's desperate attacks and lies about Mike Fitzpatrick
aren't working. Bucks County residents aren't fooled by Patrick
Murphy. They know he enthusiastically supported the big bank
bailout that paid bonuses to Wall Street CEOs, the stimulus that
shipped jobs to China, and Obamacare. No amount of negative
attacks against Mike Fitzpatrick can change Patrick Murphy's
record."
In addition to the
out-of-state money raised by Patrick Murphy, tons of paid
out-of-state workers are now flooding Bucks County on behalf of
Patrick Murphy. See these ads and articles here: 1, 2, 3.
"We all know that Chicago is
Patrick Murphy's kind of town. He was the first Pennsylvania
politician to endorse Barack Obama over Senator Clinton, Obama's
Chicago speechwriter ghostwrote for Murphy's sweetheart book deal,
and Murphy's Chief of Staff is moving to Chicago to run Rahm
Emanuel's race for mayor. But now he's bringing Chicago-style
politics to Bucks County," said Whatley. "Bucks County is
rejecting Patrick Murphy's desperate tactics, they are responding
to Mike Fitzpatrick's message of job creation and pro-growth
economic policies."
