La Boheme

August 16 & 17

On August 16 & 17, the Olympia Theater stage will be transformed into the Latin Quarter of 19th Century Paris for the opera La Boheme! Puccini's most beloved opera, the immortal tale of tragic young love, is set among the bohemian Paris rooftops.

Presented by Miami Lyric Opera, the role of the fragile Mim� is sung by Nathalie Avila; the love-sick poet Rodolfo is sung by Rodolfo Cuevas; Beverly Coulter sings the immortal Musetta's Waltz, and Oscar Martinez is Marcello. Doris Lang Kosloff conducts the Miami Lyric Opera's Orchestra and Choruses.

Sung in Italian with supertitles in English.

Every third Thursday, PAMM brings together an eclectic range of internationally-acclaimed DJs and musicians for an outdoor music series by the bay. This month, PAMM Presents producer and DJ Helix.

Born and raised south of Waycross, Georgia, Beau Thigpen is a producer and DJ currently signed to Night Slugs as Helix.Helix creates stripped-back percussive sounds he adapts to the club scene with a heavy southern hip-hop influence.
